Young Minds
Young Minds offers GPs, practice nurses and allied health professionals skills-focussed training to assist with managing mental health disorders in young people. Designed as a prevention and early intervention program, Young Minds focuses on identification, diagnosis and treatment of high prevalence mental health disorders that occur in young people between 12 and 24 years of age. Clinical information and practice guidelines, outcome measures used in the diagnosis of common disorders, treatment guidelines, materials to support patient psycho-education, advice on how to develop a ‘youth friendly’ practice.
Developed by AGPN and beyondblue. GPMHSC accredited Mental Health Skills Training package and approved and endorsed by: RACGP – 6 hour Active Learning Module, 40 CPD points); ACRRM – 6 ACRRM PDP; Australian Association of Social Workers – 2 points per learning hour; RCNA – 6 Continuing Nurse Education points.

Dermoscopy
Queensland has the highest rates of melanocytic and non-melanocytic skin cancer in the world, so it’s vital you know exactly what you’re looking at when screening patients. Dermoscopy improves accuracy in identifying skin cancers and is a valuable tool in the general practice setting. Immunisation: Recording, Reporting & Rates

GPpartners implements a ‘NO SHOW' policy for all events and training. Failure to notify GPpartners of your inability to attend may result in a $25 ‘no show’ fee being charged.
