A searchable archive of on-line education to assist GPs and other health professionals with the issues and management of patients presenting with reproductive health issues. Search for a particular male reproductive health disorder or use keywords to find a case study, Clinical Audit or Active Learning module (ALM).  

Australian Family Physician Clinical Challenge Online

The Clinical Challenge is an online clinical questionnaire which provides you with the opportunity to gain 4 Category 2 points per hour (you need to answer 12 out of the 16 questions correctly). You can complete all of the questions in one session, or over a number of sessions. You can re-enrol in the Clinical Challenge as many times as you wish. Clinical Challenge is only available for QA&CPD points for one month as the answers will be published in the subsequent month's AFP journal.

GP Learning

gplearning is an interactive online CPD education service endorsed by the RACGP which offers new activities each month and unique case-based learning content from asthma to women's health. Multiple choice questions with instant feedback and resource links. Online medical educator support. Moderated discussions. The gplearning website offers an opportunity to undertake high quality continuing professional development programs that attract RACGP QA & CPD points recognition and has a certificate of completion. gplearning is free for RACGP members though can also be accessed through subscription by non-RACGP members.

Managing the Mix

This free online training package is based on the written materials of the original face-to-face education 'Your Mental Health and Alcohol - Managing the Mix'. The program focuses on skills training for GPs in the early detection, management and treatment of alcohol misuse and common mental health comorbidities.

Med-E-Serv PriMeD

Med-E-Serv PriMeD earns you as much as 5 RACGP Group 1 points per hour but you can do it at home and in sessions as short as 15 minutes. Each week new units are released, but you can do any of the units at any time. Your personal learning journal keeps track of your progress and your CME points accrue automatically. You will need to register for access. PriMeD features are powered by the Med-E-Serv InTouch identity service which is used by many colleges and medical societies.

mdBriefCase - Australia

mdBriefCase provides free multimedia, interactive and accredited learning programs. Programs are written by specialists in their respective fields and developed according to RACGP/ACRRM guidelines. All programs will be accredited for up to 1 category 1 Active Learning Module (ALM) worth 30 points. This counts toward the 130 points required in the 2005-2007 Triennium.

RRMEO (Rural & Remote Medical Education Online)

RRMEO is a network of clinical and educational resources, interactive activities and an online community dedicated to developing best practice in rural and remote health care. Developed by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, RRMEO is available to all interested medical practitioners.

UQ Health Insitu (University of Queensland)

UQ Health Insitu is the lifelong learning arm of the University of Queensland Faculty of Health Sciences. UQ Health Insitu draws on the expertise of all schools and centres within the Faculty to develop and deliver continuing professional development programs for health professionals using best practice online and blended learning strategies. Short and extended courses are available for GPs and nurses.
